Successful install of Yosemite....High Sierra

So heres the gist..... I had to remove my upgraded ram and put in my 2 original ram sticks from my macmini in order to upgrade my macbook pro to Yosemite from Lion then to High Sierra. After the upgrade was completed I put back in my upgrade sticks. They are 2 8 gb cruicial.

mac book pro upgrading woes

So tried upgrading to El Capitan last year on my macbook and it failed. Things about mac is once they fail trying to upgrade its a bitch to get them back up. It made me format and go back to lion, cause I hadnt had my macbook up to purchase mavericks or el capitan or high sierra, Mountain Lion is not available to me as well, so it used my default one for my macbook pro, Lion.

So the error message you get when you try to upgrade your mac has to do with the time on it, since i dont have a battery in my macbook i need to add a ntpdate time.apple.com to my start up. This will actually avoid a lot of issues.

macbook repair done

working keyboard and trackpad again unfortunately kept the battery out it was bulging.. I also put minimum screws back in 4 in back one on each side and 2 in front. I will look for a bottom case screw kit for my macbook. I get to take it all apart again for the new bluetooth 4.0/wifi card I bought. This new card will give my macbook pro the capabilities of the newer models, handoff, continuality and airdrop

Mac book issue 10.9.4 messed up my system

*** UPDATE ***

Fixed had to restart my macbook, hold command + r and and load recovery, then i did restore mac os x took a while, but it downloaded and reinstalled Mavericks 10.9.4 over my existing install. I have no experienced a single freeze at all now.

submitted this to discussion.apple.com

I am not a new mac user by any means, I can usually fix any issue I need to, by reading the system logs and using console etc, with this issue system wont stay unfrozen long enough. Frankly I am stumped with this issue. I just upgraded my macbook from 10.9.2 to 10.9.4 cause mac App store showed it was available for me. The 10.9.4 Combo update is what it downloaded and installed. Said it would fix my wifi issue I have been experiencing so I was happy to install it.

I need advice on how i can figure out why my system is constantly freezing. I have not been able to replicate it on demand, it just seems to happen by itself, I can be using the terminal, not have anything running at all and come back and my system is frozen. Sometimes I can see that the windows and finder no longer are clickable and then the dock the icons no longer move around, then suddenly the mouse is frozen. Only can hold power and shut down.
This is what I have done.

Done the PRAM reset and SMC reset - nothing changed
I have loaded into recovery and repaired both the permissions and the file system. rebooted - nothing changed frozen within minutes of loading up.
Working on getting etrecheck right now, but submitted post early cause i have no idea how long till system freezes again....
